So basically you are looking at many Marians.You are looking at the Marian who is the product of two partisan parents, two national heroes. And then right next to this one, you have a daughter who is like a little girl whose mother never gives her any love, very vulnerable and unbelievably disappointed and sad. And then there’s another one, who has this kind of spiritual wisdom and can go above all that. And this is actually my favourite one.

When I first met her, I thought “oh god she is in love with me”. And it took me a while to understand that she is in love with the world. So it’s not personal.

“Don’t take it personal, I am in love with the world. I am not in love only with you.”

There is pain but the pain is like a keeping secret. The moment you really got within the door of the pain, you enter into another statement of mind. This physical beauty and unconditional love and this feeling of there is no kind of border between your body and the environment. And you start to feel a kind of incredible lightness and harmony within yourself. It’s something like a wholly. I can’t explain it.

I am very sentimental with this van. This really breaks my heart, looking into this car inside. How much belief and hope and innocence our life was dealing with at that time. This was incredibale happy life of my life, in this place. It has everything I wanted, the man I loved, and worked together, and being radical, not making any compromise and so ever. Two of us and the dog, and the universe. It showed me the incredible road from leaving there to here. it's been a long way.

12 years. It hurts every time when imagine it.
