Not nearly as good as the first season. I expected as much though. What I didn't expect was that they'd take away handsome Dr. Mauer and the relationship between him and Cathy which I adored so, so much, or that they'd take away Cynthia Nixon's character and with a freaking miscarriage. Glad to see Hugh Dancy, not so glad he was gay or he was only here for this season.
Still funny sometimes, still touching sometimes, but didn't make me burst into tears once. And what's new, some plotlines just didn't make any sense to me.
It made me wonder what I would feel like watching Hugh Dancy die if I had been by my grandpa's side when he took his last breath. I imagine I would feel a lot more than just some tears in my eyes and some doubt in my mind if they depicted his death realistically. And certainly not so very regretful that I missed a crucial memory in my so very short life.
