This has had very mixed reviews, but if I was to recommend one movie from this collection here I would definitely choose this one.
I generally love dark British comedies, and this one ticks all the boxes: deeply disturbed characters, beautiful locations and a quirky storyline.
Alice Low and Steve Oram, who wrote the screenplay, are Tina and Chris, a fairly new couple who are embarking on a caravan tour of some great British attractions. (Keswick Pencil Museum, anyone?) Tina is a woman-child with a clingy mother, while Chris is a quietly-spoken, mild-mannered loner with a love of fell walking ... and murder.
I just loved this movie, from start to finish. For me it was like Natural Born Killers in the British countryside. There are some LOL moments (like when you find out what actually happened to the dog) and it just wouldn't be a British horror if there weren't some cringe-worthy scenes about our obsession with manners. Watch it.
