He then went on an endless list of what type of water body to look for, the best season for a suitable water temperature, how to practice, what type of danger to be aware of, how long it took to prepare...

I interrupted him, ‘remind me - and what do you get in return?’

‘Nothing. Probably a souvenir medal,’ he said.

‘Not gold?! No winning price?? Why would you go through so much pain and trouble for nothing?!’ I said in disbelief.

‘Because this is something I want to do.’ He put it simply.
