Plot Summary:A straight film of the stage show which as far as I know was only shown once. Young American writer goes to Berlin at a time Nazis were emerging. Meets Sally Bowles at the Kit Kat club... songs get sung, lessons learned and hearts broken. Moving portrayal of decadence and ignorance in a hedonistic world.
