捕鼠者影评:Lose Yourself in the Corn Field with Ratcatcher
This would be the typical Scotish film, illustrating the keen understanding of the paradoxical coexistence of filth and beauty, that sticks with your heart for a long time.
The dirctor Lynne Ramsay's debut brings me unimaginable shock on the lyrical images and dacaying visual. The 13 year old boy James completes my dream of having a cruel childhood wonder: catching a bus without knowing where it's heading, feeling helpless to see the girl I love falling, jumping in the wild corn field in a sunday afternoon, regreting upon the guilt of some death-involved crime....
The ratcatcher, with a panic stricken childhood in the Glasgow garbage strike of 1973, has everything sifting away except for the painful touch on those memories.
