摩登家庭 第十一季

I couldn’t stop feeling sad upon thinking about the end of this fabulous, excellent, hilarious, warm, and great comedy. For almost 8 years, it has been the best choice when you feel sorrow or upset.

Needless to say, the countless stories that are very creative and meaningful. The 3 seemingly distinctive families may represent most of the combinations of families in the world. A nuclear family with 3 well-rounded children: Haley, Alex, and Luke; A blended family with a husband double-aged his glamourous, sexy wife; and a recently legally approved same-sex family(omg Mitch and Cam are the best couples ever!).

Apart from the world’s all-time favorite FRIENDS, Modern Family is the most striking comedy in all these years, I think. The 2 comedy show varies in the theme: one is friendship and relationships, another is about family and growing. But it’s hard to tell which series isour favorite(Both of them are just as excellent as a drama can be). Throughout 11 years, Modern Family has won 22 Emmys including best TV series, best-supporting actors/actresses, and a Gloden Globe Award. Also it’s ABC’s longest-running comedy series.

In terms of the story-telling methods of Modern Family, I was truly impressed. There was one episode that was shot all on the screen–When Claire was out for a business trip or something like that, different family members are using Facetime to communicate and the writers were so talented that they even made different conflicts and coincidences in that episode. And every festival that you and I celebrate with our families, are celebrated inModern Familyas well. On Valentine, Claire and Phil turn into horny Juliana and serious senator Clive to sex up the whole day, however every time they ended up with awkward situations. On Thanksgiving, all of the family members huddle up together, making a big feast and that touched me every year. Sometimes they also relax by traveling together, and it’s just cute every family has their own ‘selfish’ thoughts but eventually got caught red-handed.

So after going through every episode, you can also learn a lot of new ways to tell a story. Basically you can’t stop ....
