Plot Summary:A brother and sister who were close as children are thrown together - by their mother's potentially fatal illness. The sister is angry that she was the one left behind to look after mum. The brother feels guilty, annoyed that he's been pulled back to the seaside parental home he escaped. They bicker like the children they once were. It's a form of defence - like the sister's claim that her brother cured her crippled legs through a magical ritual. The brother is by turns bemused or irritated. Underneath it all is the deeply buried loss of sibling love - one that hasn't grown with them and their adult lives. Because the brother would rather stay at an Airbnb than with his sister and mother, the two of them meet a couple who live an isolated existence in a large and claustrophobic house by the sea. The brother and sister are drawn together for the first time in a long time in the face of the couple's strangeness. Ultimately the revelation of the couple's long buried secret leaves the brother and sister realising that there is a love to be re-found between them.
