一批不同地域不同背景的大陆人在九七之后各怀心事来到香港，现实的困顿令他们游走在城市的边缘，只能做香港城的弃民，眼见的繁华宛如无法碰触的美丽梦境。

Plot Summary:This film gets under the skin of a very marginalized group: recent immigrants to Hong Kong from Mainland China. Belying the expectation that they will belong in a territory now returned to China's sovereignty, they find themselves lonely, frustrated, poor and employable only in the most menial jobs from elevator service staff to prostitution.
