It's kind of interesting watching this drama as an English teacher. It's totally different to teach in college and in middle school. But i do somewhat relate to it when Bill talked about that complicated But faithful relationship with literature. I feel connected to language and I see how charming and inspiring it is. I also relate to the happiness and peach the actress delivered when having class. Honestly, the happiest moment in work is when I'm teaching in the classroom. For me, it's the place where i get to meet my cuestest students in 45 minutes each day and where i can teach things i like and they can inspire me by their talents and creativity.

As for the show,i watched it all in one sitting and i do enjoy it. I don't think Bill is just a fucked up widower. Instead, i do like his attitude toward life and everything. Be casual. Be real. Be faithful. Be humorous. Modern people including me are so uptight sometimes. We're so busy with things at hand and we forget how to live our life with a peaceful mind. Moreober, there are too many items included in this drama, namely racism, unfair treatment of different genders in workplace, White supremacy, emotional riot, speech freedom, fight, hatred, March, social media, literature impasse etc. It's very close to the hit topics currently and the plot is kind of predictable. So i think it's a good drama to enjoy while having meals or relaxing.
